Amanda Geller is an Associate Professor of Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine. Her research and scholarship sit at the intersection of criminal justice and social inequality, using life course theory and quantitative methodologies to examine ways in which systems of social and legal control affect urban residents, families and communities. Professor Geller’s research has been published in outlets including Criminology and Public Policy, the American Journal of Public Health, and Social Science and Medicine.
